Compdigitec is currently in the middle of a major site renovation - please be patient with us while we upgrade and renovate the site for the next month. Compdigitec FlatfileTools is a useful and state-of-the art class to manipulate flat-file databases (actually delimited text files). 2008-05-21 - Watch our Polar Ice

It's sad, but it's true. The Arctic Ice is melting, and rather quickly due to global warming. The polar bears now have a shorter winter and less ice to live on, and scientists predict that in about 200 years the polar ice will have completely melted! Much of this huge disaster has been caused by us humans and by burning fossils fuels, which in turn leads to dramatic climate change. This will cause sea levels to rise 5 centimeters every day, which means that in one year, the sea level will rise 18.25 meters! Native fish hunters will be affected by the dangerous ice. Many parts of famous coastal cities will be underwater in within 50 years...

2008-04-08 - Earth Hour a Huge Success around the Globe

At 8pm on 29 March 2008, millions of people in the world’s major cities used the simple action of turning off the lights for just one hour to deliver a powerful message about the need for action on global warming. The message was a very important one because we must stop the very harmful effect of global warming from taking over the globe and making our planet unsuitable for life. Almost everyone on the planet participated in the event by doing the very simple action of turning of their lights for just one hour.

Our StatCounter Logs were reset today, therefore all the visitor statistics were re-done. We're sorry about any inconvinence caused by this. The old visitor count was around 600 or so.

We have a new game on the site, Multiplication Station! This game is a multiplication game where you have to click on the numbers in the squares in the board to make the product as shown in the top right corner. Enjoy!
